Project Sprint - Week 2

Duration: 2 hours
Goal: “Lock in your Demo Day Project Details and start building your demo materials.”

Tonight’s Focus

This week you’ll nail down your Demo Day Project Details and start/continue creating the materials you’ll use on Demo Day:

  • Submit your project details using the form below
  • Design your project logo
  • Record/refine a short demo of your project in action
  • Work on your Demo Day slides (if you haven’t already)

Step 1: Submit Your Project Details

Fill out this form to lock in your Demo Day Project Details. This tells us what you built, who it’s for, and what makes it special.

Your logo will appear on your Demo Day slide. Keep it simple — a clean icon or wordmark works great.

  • Open a drawing app, Google Slides, or any tool you’re comfortable with
  • Aim for something that represents your project at a glance
  • Save it as an image file so you can drop it into your presentation later

Step 3: Record/Refine Your Demo

A short screen recording/demo (1-2 minutes) showing your project in action is one of the most powerful things you can bring to Demo Day.

  • Show the most interesting or useful part of your project
  • Narrate what you’re doing as you record — just talk through it naturally
  • Don’t worry about making it perfect; authentic is better than polished

Step 4: Work on Your Demo Day Slides

  • Here is the template on Google Slides
  • Customize the template with your project details, logo, and demo video
